Open Space Master Plan Community Workshop
The department of Public Works & Natural Resources is in the process of updating the City’s Open Space Master Plan. The intent of this comprehensive plan is to evaluate Longmont's open space needs to proactively plan for the future. Wildlife Management Plan Public Meeting Open House
Longmont is updating its Wildlife Management Plan and has scheduled the first public meeting open house date. Per Longmont's website, the goals of the Wildlife Management Plan are "to develop a general City philosophy for allowing the coexistence of wildlife and human activities and to the extent possible, preserve wildlife habitats and promote improvements of degraded habitats, ensuring that Longmont’s high quality of life is maintained for its residents."
