Wildlife Management Plan Public Meeting Open House

Longmont is updating its Wildlife Management Plan and the second public meeting open house date is Thursday April 4th from 6-8pm.
Per Longmont’s website, the goals of the Wildlife Management Plan are “to develop a general City philosophy for allowing the coexistence of wildlife and human activities and to the extent possible, preserve wildlife habitats and promote improvements of degraded habitats, ensuring that Longmont’s high quality of life is maintained for its residents.”
The second meeting will look at pollinators, native fish of the St Vrain, conflicts with wildlife, species that enrich Longmont’s quality of life
and wildlife diversity. Snacks will also be available during the informal open house portion of the meeting. More public meetings will follow.
