City Council Meeting Open Forum
The July 17 city council meeting, beginning at 7 pm in the Council Chambers at 350 Kimbark Street, will be an Open Forum for residents to talk for 5 minutes each to council members about any topic on their minds. St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District staff are seeking input on the St. Vrain Left Hand Stream Management Plan process to help transition from flood recovery to restoring and protecting stream health. The second opportunity for pubic input on the plan is at the Altona Grange from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday, October 16th.

City Council will be reviewing and scheduling the projects they want to pursue in 2019 at the January 22nd City Council meeting. Wildlife Management Plan Public Meeting Open House
Longmont is updating its Wildlife Management Plan and has scheduled the first public meeting open house date. Per Longmont's website, the goals of the Wildlife Management Plan are "to develop a general City philosophy for allowing the coexistence of wildlife and human activities and to the extent possible, preserve wildlife habitats and promote improvements of degraded habitats, ensuring that Longmont’s high quality of life is maintained for its residents."
